Spirit Winds Farm is located on a windy hillside in Placerville, CA, near the Red Hawk Rancheria in Shingle Springs.

The farm got its name, Spirit Winds, for two reasons. The first, for the sound heard throughout the four seasons, of whistling winds (and at times, howling winds) over the Western hilltops. The whistling resembles the sound of a flute, one such as used by Native Americans who we are reminded of by our neighboring rancheria.  

The second is for far more personal reasons but more important to our family. Spirit Winds reminds us of our relationship with the Holy Spirit and the power that renews and protects us, our home and and our farm.
